The Royal Islander offers all the amenities you would expect from a 5-star resort including a full-service sports program which includes championship tennis courts, sailboats, snorkeling, cycling, children’s activities and water aerobics. In addition, there is a well-stocked grocery store, a travel agency and car rental agency located in the lobby as well as a full-service unisex beauty salon and delightful boutique located at our sister resort, the Royal Caribbean, next door.

Rooms

The Royal Caribbean offers three types of accommodations for singles, couples or families to enjoy. All of the various types of accommodations feature central air conditioning, direct-dial telephone and color TV via Satellite with remote control.
The villa, which can comfortably accommodate six guests, features a full size kitchen, spacious living and dining areas plus two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The suite, which can accommodate four guests, features a private bedroom, a full size kitchen as well as spacious living and dining areas. The Deluxe Room features two double beds and is ideal for couples.

The Cayo Largo Restaurant is located poolside in the center of The Islander complex. Cayo Largo offers breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as a choice of spectacular settings.
You can choose to dine in the second floor patio area with views of the pool and the Caribbean sea or in the main dining room in air conditioned comfort.
The lunch menu features light salads and sandwiches. The dinner menu specializes in Gulf Of Mexico and Caribbean seafood.
Hours are 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. Happy hours are from 4 to 7 p.m.
